Qualification:
Any Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in English medium, Schooling throughout English medium preferred
Key skills expected:

· Impeccable English- spoken, written, and grammar
· 10+ years of full-time ad agency experience as a copywriter, preferably at a full-service agency; SEO writing experience irrelevant
· 1-2 years of team leading/ mentoring experience, handling a team of junior copywriters
· Great ideation, presentation, and communication skills
· Should take ownership of their individual projects & the copy team’s projects, working in sync with the design & account management and other
creative leaders
· Should be able to write in either Gujarati or Hindi compulsorily, apart from English
· Should have worked on print, web, and branding projects
· Should be willing to work in a well-defined organization structure
Job description:
· Leading, managing, and mentoring a team of senior & junior copywriters, working primarily in the print and web departments
· Reviewing all the work done by the copywriters, providing feedback and improving their quality of work & skills levels
· Setting processes and plans for the copy team for various kinds of projects, to work in sync with leaders of other departments to match project
timelines
· Coming up with fresh concepts and ideas, presenting to the team and developing them along with designers and account managers
· Attending client meetings along with the team, asking the right questions to collect data to work on the project successfully and providing guidance
to the team
· Creating content maps, sitemaps, content inventory and wireframes and writing content primarily for websites, brochures, landing pages, and other
marketing collaterals
· Research and understand client’s requirements, study consumer psychology, conduct preliminary market research to ideate long-term and short-term
campaigns as per brand’s requirement
· Coming up with brand names, taglines, values, brand story, mission, vision, core values, philosophy etc. to define brand identity
· Continuously come up with new and innovative creative marketing ideas for a range of multiple clients
· Hire the right talent as per team structure and project requirements by providing clear instructions to the Talent Acquisition Department
· Maintain, analyze and present team’s performance data to the management at quarterly review meets and annual meets
· Performance appraisal of individual team members as per the company’s processes, identify strengths, weaknesses, and areas of improvement of
individual team members and plan corrective measures
· Work directly under the Creative Director – Copy, and report project plans and progress on a regular basis
· Find ways to upgrade the skills of the copywriters to continuously improve the overall creative output of the team
· Accompanying the team for client meetings and recces
· Participate in the organization’s upskilling initiatives like training programs, conclaves, online courses etc. to continuously improve work quality and
overall approach
· Support other teams, including the HR department for internal activities, events and brand CC’s initiatives
